BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY
Is This Your Kind of Adventure?

A club built around costuming, community and the Outer Rim spirit.

Star Wars Costuming

Create original characters inspired by the Star Wars universe.

Craftsmanship

Learn armour building, weathering and prop making.

Community

Become part of a friendly and supportive club.

Charity

Attend events that make a positive difference.

Adventure

Take part in immersive raids and public appearances.

Camaraderie

Your Journey

Every new recruit begins as a Womprat.

Womprat is the title given to all new recruits while they learn the culture of the club, meet the community and begin building their first costume. Once a recruit completes their first approved costume, they earn their official Gang Name and become a Thug.

The Thug is the foundation character class of the Rancor Speeder Bikers. After gaining experience as a Thug, members may progress into one of the advanced specialist classes.

STEP ONE

Initial Inquiry

Contact the Rancor Speeder Bikers, introduce yourself and begin your journey. We'll answer your questions, explain how the Club works and help you decide whether we're the right community for you.

STEP TWO

Womprat (Recruit)

Join the community Discord server, meet fellow members and become part of the Outpost. This is your opportunity to ask questions, learn about the Club and begin planning your first costume.

STEP THREE

Thug (Rider)

Complete and approve your first Thug costume, earning your colours and becoming a full Rider within the Gang. Join your fellow members on raids, public appearances and charity events wearing your new colours with pride.

STEP FOUR

Specialist (Optional)

Once your Thug costume is approved, you may choose to remain a Thug indefinitely or continue developing your character by upgrading into one of the six specialist Variant Roles. This stage is entirely optional and exists for members who wish to further expand their costume and storytelling.

Every Rancor Speeder Biker begins as a Womprat. The title recognises a recruit who is learning the culture of the Outpost and building their first costume. Only after successful approval as a Thug does a member earn their official Gang Name and begin the path towards specialist character classes.

Everything begins here.

The Rancor Speeder Bikers has been designed from the ground up to be accessible to everyone, regardless of previous costuming experience. Our Thug costume has been intentionally developed as an approachable entry point into Star Wars costuming, allowing new builders to begin their journey with confidence before choosing whether to develop into one of our specialist Variant Roles.

Discord plays a vital role in making that journey enjoyable. Rather than relying on endless lists of datapoints scattered across outdated forum threads, our community is built around real conversations, shared progress and immediate support. Members can ask questions, share photographs, receive feedback and celebrate milestones as they build their costumes together.

This creates an active, living community where every build becomes part of the Club's ongoing story. Instead of searching through years of archived forum posts, members are encouraged to learn directly from one another, making the experience more welcoming, collaborative and engaging from day one.
